Breastfeeding can be a beautiful, transformative experience—but it can also come with challenges such as pain, exhaustion, low milk supply, or latching difficulties that affect both your physical and emotional well-being.
I understand how overwhelming this can feel, but I also know that with the right help and support, breastfeeding can become a healing and empowering experience, even after a rocky start.
Baby Smile Lactation offers a holistic approach to breastfeeding, honoring the deep connection between mother, baby, and their environment. Because a happy, well-fed baby starts with a supported, well-rested mama.
This is me with my first child. Don’t be fooled by the smile… At that moment, I was exhausted, still in shock after a traumatic birth, and wondering why “everyone could breastfeed except me.”
It only took one appointment with a wonderful lactation consultant to give me the knowledge and confidence I needed to begin a two-year-long breastfeeding journey with my baby, Alex — and to inspire a fulfilling career supporting mothers and babies.
And this is me, a few years later, breastfeeding my third child while coach parenting my two older kiddos — what a change, right? That’s exactly what I hope to bring to every mother and baby I support: confidence, love, and happiness.
Does my name sound a little unique? That’s because I was born into a half-French, half-Spanish family in a beautiful little city in the southwest of France, and to be raised bilingual.
Over the years, I’ve lived in several countries, met wonderful people, taught both French and Spanish, learned Italian and English, moved to the U.S., marry a charming German man and raised three trilingual children. Each chapter has shaped the compassionate, open-minded perspective I bring to my work today.
PS: after having 3 kids on my own and spending thousands of hours speaking French to them, I have a very hard time speaking English to babies… chances are, your baby will get his first French lesson ever during the consultation 😅
For the past seven years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting mothers with breastfeeding, postpartum, and motherhood in and around Longmont—and all around the world, thanks to new technologies and my knowledge of foreign languages. Over these years, I’ve accumulated thousands of hours of experience, from prenatal consultations to weaning a five-year-old, through the incredibly vulnerable first weeks, transitions back to work or into solid foods, loss, adoption, recurring challenges, and also countless achievements, smiles, and milestones.
Sometimes families just needed a gentle hand to get started; other times we met regularly and, along the way, built lasting relationships and friendships.
I feel deeply grateful to walk alongside mothers on their journeys, offering guidance, encouragement, and compassionate support every step of the way. It is truly an honor to have so many families trust me with what is most precious to them in this world—and I continually strive to be worthy of that trust. 💖
